I have received my contributor’s copy of the book, What The Fans Think: Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s UFO, published by https://penciltippublishing.wordpress.com/. I am delighted to say I have two articles in this book. The first is a review of the opening episode, ‘Identified’ and the second, is an essay on ‘A Millenials Impression of UFO’. I was actually born some thirty years after the show was broadcast but I was intrigued as I had loved the Andersons’ Thunderbirds, (videos and toys in my childhood). And I was not disappointed. If you are a fan, read the book. If you haven’t seen the television series, you should watch it.
I'm a writer and an advocate for disabled people. I am a Motivational Speaker and Disability Rights activist, using my own lived experiences to help improve the quality of life for people who are in similar positions to that of my own. I see myself as a ambassador, with a strong interest in championing people with disabilities and highlighting the attributes that we have, rather than focussing on our impairments. I write across all platforms; poetry, novels and screenplays, as well as doing advocacy work. I have also have a strong interest in science fiction and I love getting involved in science fiction writing projects.
